ellaHi Devyn,

I just wanted to write to tell you how well our darling little Ella is doing.  Today is our 3 month anniversary of her adoption.

Ella is close to five months old.  We adopted her when she was just 8 weeks.  My daughter, Saira and I drove 3 1/2 hours to the Stoltzfoos family farm to get her.  She was my Mother’s Day present.  Steven and his wife, Sylvia, were more than gracious upon our arrival.  I especially liked interacting with two of Steven’s younger children when we were getting to know Ella.

What a joy Ella has been.  She is a real Momma’s girl!  I had never owned a dog before and was very nervous!  She has been the best thing that ever happened to me and my family.  I cannot imagine not having her.  She is very playful and fast as lightening, but also quite content to sit with me and watch TV.  In fact, we love her so much that we adopted a “baby brother” for her as my husband’s Father’s Day present.  I really love Cavachons!

I would be remiss if I didn’t thank you, Devyn, for all your help and patience with my many, many questions.  Even after we had Ella for a bit, I was quite comfortable to turn to you with even the silliest of questions.  You were always so kind and patient with my novice questions.

Be well,

Lisa

    Hello Devyn!
I would also love to compliment the fantastic job in your website, as well as your business. Upon arrival at the Stoltzfoos family farm, I was greeted with many smiles from Steven and his beautiful family! This made me feel great about purchasing a puppy from this area because every breeder I called before hand was rude and very unhelpful! Devyn was just as enthusiastic about answering my questions as Steven was to have me over to meet the puppies.

When walking into the back yard, Steven brought out an 8 week old Yorkie-Bichon (Yorkichon) mix named Jessie. I was originally there to see the Cavachon puppies, but it was too late. The moment I saw Jessie, it was puppy love! He was even ready to leave the farm a few days later so of course I was thrilled. Jessie was to be an early SUPRISE Christmas present for my fiance. Without hesitation, I told Steven that Jessie was our puppy to be! 3 days later, I jumped in the car and made the 1.5 hour drive from our home in Maryland to the farm and took our new family member home. That evening I told my fiance Brian to close his eyes and sit on the couch. When I plopped the puppy in his lap, Brian opened his eyes and simply fell in love right then and there. His face lit up… just like a kid on Christmas morning!

Simply because my fiance has a sister named Jessie, we decided to rename our puppy Captain. He definitely “Captains” our apartment, our two cats, and of course our hearts! So thank you to the Stoltzfoos family and Devyn for all of your hard work and love that you put into what you do! I’ve highly recommended Lancaster Country Puppies to many people now, so hopefully good things come your way! Thank you again for everything & God Bless!

    -Kylie & Brian
